Make sure that you have an active Internet connection and click Online search.

Choose the catalog you want to search. You can also → add additional databases or catalogs. Enter your search terms and click Search.

Citavi performs the search.

You can add all the references at once or you can look at individual references in greater detail and then select the checkboxes next to the results you want to add to your project.

Do you want to add keywords? Or call numbers? Most of the time you will only want to add location information for a library where you have borrowing privileges.
